Kinchum- Chu- Bomsa is folk dance form of Sikkim that is mostly performed by young Lepcha boys and girls to cherish and celebrate their beautiful mountainous land that is known as Ney-Mayel-Lyang means a hidden paradise.

Performance— This performance is done by young boys and girls along with traditional costumes. Costumes include decorative beads, feathers, necklaces and unique headpieces that enhance the overall performance and show their connection to nature. Dance movements are very fluid and symbolic that represents the interaction between earth and spirits. Dancers perform Kinchum- Chu- Bomsa dance during rituals and festivals to honor nature and asking for divine protection.
